Few things are more important than your pictures of your wedding, but there are a few!

First: Your wedding is more important than the pictures of your wedding!  That is why I believe it is essential that you feel comfortable with your photographer.  I insist (when feaseable) to meet with the bride and groom-to-be before you make your final decision for a photographer.  I like to get to know you a little and have you get to know me a little.  Ask all of your questions, tell me what you are looking for - do you like contemporary photography or traditional?  Do you know the difference?  As the photographer you choose will be "ever-present" on your most special of days, it is rather important that you "like" the person that you have chosen as your photographer.

Second: Your wedding is more important than the pictures of your wedding!  That is why I believe in not interfering with your wedding - not being "under foot" or in your way.  By sitting down ahead of time and planning for the flow of your day, I am able to not interfere with the flow.  For instance, when do you plan on having the "portrait" photos (staged of bride, bride and groom, bride and family, etc.) taken?  After the ceremony but before the reception? If so, know that these photos can take up to 1/2 hour (or more!) and that you need to plan accordingly for your reception!

Third:  Your wedding is more important than the pictures of your wedding!  That is why I believe that the cost for your pictures shouldn't cost more than the wedding itself!  By utilyzing digital photography and today's technology, I am able to greatly reduce the cost of your wedding photography while still providing the highest quality photos.

Pricing:

I have no package system - you decide what you need and want, what you are able to pay, what you are able to do yourself, etc. and design your own package!!!  Everything is "ala carte"!!!

The following prices are in effect until December 1, 2009.

Photography hours are priced at $300.00/hour.  This will include up to three locations (within a 30 mile radius of Summerville) as well as a "CD Proof" that contains all of your wedding photos.  The CD is not copywritten, you are welcome to print your own, or have them printed at a location of your choice.  CD's allow you to print your own photos, any size and number that you like, you can share your photos online, send to friends and family, etc.  The only thing I ask is that you do not use the photos that I shoot to enter any photo contests, submit to magazines, etc., without prior permission.

I typically shoot between 400 and 600 photos at a wedding - dependent upon how many hours, guests, etc.  When I book a wedding date, I only book one date for a weekend - so you may tell me what hours you need me and where - I can be available for some reception photography, portrait photography, etc.   Book me for 2 hours at the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, one hour of portrait photography at a local romantic spot, one hour at your house while you're getting dressed, one hour at the church and five hours at the reception for a total of 10 hours.  Or, book me for one hour at the church and two hours at the reception for a total of 3 hours.  Not only is the choice yours - you can change your choices at any time - before your wedding!!!  No one else gives you the flexibility to make decisions that fit your needs.

Photos are very reasonable priced, beginning at $8.00 for an 8 x 10 (glossy or matte, black and white or color).  I print most of my own photos (except for the largest of orders) and all photos are checked for color, clarity, contrast, etc. and printed on Kodak paper.

CD's are available beginning at $5.00 for an extra "Proof CD".  From your "Proof CD", you choose your favorite 100, you pick the size, black and white or color, specials, and I will individually crop, colorize, and inspect/fix for contrast, brightness, color, etc. and place on a CD (for you to have your own prints made, on your own time, at your own price.) $100.00.   CD's allow you to print your own photos, any size and number that you like, you can share your photos online, send to friends and family, etc.

Wedding Albums are perhaps THE most expensive part to wedding photography.  Wedding albums can now be made online, to order, from many companies.  I do recommend you do this yourself, it will save you money.  If you want me to create your album, prices will be dependent upon size, work, etc.
